And while our natural inclination would've been to choose the mid-engined, two-seat Boxster S to mash heads with the 380-horse V6 S model, the lads at Evo had Tiff Needell compare the new Jag to a 911 Carrera Cabriolet. Saab finds a buyer
Wed, 13 Jun 2012Bankrupt automaker Saab has found a buyer. But instead of picking up where the Swedish firm left off, the buyer plans to use Saab's resources for the production of electric cars. The new owners of Saab, a Chinese-Swedish investment group with Japanese backing called National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB (NEVS), did not release details on how much it paid for Saab or how much it planned to invest in the company.
Mercedes AMG driving academy is coming to the United States
Wed, 24 Jun 2009Mercedes-Benz is offering a chance for speed enthusiasts to learn to drive like the pros. The AMG Driving Academy will be held at three sites in September. The academy, founded in Germany in 2007, gives drivers a chance to get behind the wheels of several AMG models, including the E63 AMG, the SL63 AMG, the C63 AMG, the SLK55 AMG and the CLK63 AMG Black Series.
