Agnelli family member to become Fiat chairman
Wed, 21 Apr 2010Fiat S.p.A. said that Agnelli family heir John Elkann will become chairman and that Italy's biggest carmaker will separate its car-making business from trucks and tractors. Elkann, 34, is the grandson of former chairman Giovanni Agnelli and is vice chairman and head of the family's holding company.

Wed, 26 Jun 2013Infiniti are pinning the new Q50′s sporting credibility on Sebastian Vettel (pictured) Infiniti are hanging their future sales on a name change that sounds like a James Bond reference – with all Infiniti models now getting the ‘Q’ prefix – and Sebastian Vettel’s input and endorsement of the brand – he’s Infiniti’s Director of Performance (well, there’s a price to pay for Infiniti’s Red Bull sponsorship). The first outing for Infiniti ‘Q’ in the UK is the new Infiniti Q50, which gets a four cylinder 2.2 litre turbo diesel as its entry-level, and it looks quite promising with 168bhp and 295lb/ft of torque and emissions of 115g/km, which should mean official economy around 65mpg. James Bond Aston Martin DB5 sells for £2.9m
Thu, 28 Oct 2010The famous James Bond Aston Martin DB5 sold last night at a London auction for nearly £3 million. American businessman Harry Yeaggy paid £2,912,000 ($4,608,500) for the 1964 DB5 driven by Sean Connery in Goldfinger and Thunderball. The 007 DB5 is best known for Q's gadgets, including revolving number plates, rocket launchers and an ejector seat.
