 Hydraulic Trim Ram Cylinder For Mercruiser Pre Alpha

• This is for one brand new Pre Alpha trim cylinder for many 1970-1982 R style Drives. Please Read all notes below before ordering.
  
• Replaces OEM part number 87173A 5. These rams have two ports at the rear allowing them to be used on either port or starboard side. One inlet is left closed depending on what side it is installed on. (see pictures)
  
• This only replaces trim cylinders that have 2 lines connected to them. If you only have one line going in to the cylinder these will not work!
• These cylinders will replace the style that has one line going in the front and one line going in the back of the ram with no other parts needed.  If you have both lines entering the ram near the same location on the front these can be used but you will need to replace 1 trim line per ram.  These rams will retrofit to work with that style but these rams must have one line enter at the front and one at the rear like the newer style. The OEM line numbers needed for replacement lines are 32-87235 and 32-87234 We can get them in aftermarket for 32.95 each or we sell complete hose kits for 105.00 with all 4 lines!
