In-car DAB digital overtakes analogue radio
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Digital Radio UK has delved into CAP and SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) data, and found that DAB is now standard equipment on more new cars than analogue-only radio. As of April 2014, 55% of all new cars come with DAB digital radio as standard. GMC Granite concept (w/ Video)
Mon, 18 Jan 2010The biggest surprise at the 2010 NAIAS was GMC's Granite concept - a design that expands (or rather contracts) the truck/crossover brand's 'professional grade' philosophy to a compact hatchback aimed at urban hipsters and early adopters. Conceived by Frank Saucedo's Advanced Design team in California and then built at GM's Design Center in Detroit, the Granite combines the basic proportions of the Nissan Cube and Scion xB with a military/industrial feel inspired by the current G-Star and Diesel fashion lines. 2012 BMW 6-series to get xDrive power
Mon, 19 Sep 2011Do convertibles and all-wheel drive go together like oil and water, or peas and carrots? BMW seems to think the latter, with the addition of the company's xDrive system to the 2012 BMW 650i. BMW says the all-wheel-driver versions of the 6-series are faster than the rear-drive cars.
