 6. Dog clutch and detent design eliminate the need for special shifters
 7. Separate low and reverse gears make shifting precise
 8. Designed for easy assembly, dis assembly, and service
 9. Six inch long, 27 tooth output shaft spline will accept any length yoke
10. SAE 10 tooth input shaft spline
11. Low gear ratio: 1.88:1
12. Reverse gear ratio: 2.29:1
13. All shafts and gears are cryogenic-ally treated

Low Gear:
We set the low gear in constant mesh.To make the shift, only the dog ring is used. Not having to bring the low gear set in and out of mesh helps the racer make quick, smooth shifts. Ratio 1.88:1.

Direct Drive:
The reverse idler (shown in yellow) is not meshed with any gears and is not spinning when the transmission is in Direct Drive. Since the counter shaft is fully supported by needle roller bearings, only the input mesh gear is spinning when the transmission is in Direct Drive. Ratio 1:1

Ford Motor Company Executive Chairman Bill Ford outlined a plan this week to develop connected cars to combat congestion on the roads in the future. His speech at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain was the first ever to be delivered at the annual communications industry event by an automotive industry executive. 2015 Nissan Versa Note gets an upgrade

Nissan revealed the 2015 Versa Note SR at the Chicago Auto Show on Thursday. The hatchback was joined on the stand by the Frontier diesel pickup. The SR trim of the diminutive Note gets a new front bumper and grille with dark headlight treatments and fog lights with black chrome accents.

Lamborghini has revealed the 2013 Gallardo and  Edizione Tecnica package at Paris 2012 as a stop-gap before the new Gallardo in 2014. What the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo is is a fill-in between the current Gallardo and an all new model in 2014. So, a bit of a facelift to the range, some new colours and a sexy-sounding Italian add-on – the  Edizione Tecnica package – are the order of the day.
