new repo windshield wiper stop bracket, ford # D0OZ-17C583-A . This is positioned in the middle of your cowl at the bottom of the windshield, the bottom of the windshield has a plastic u-channel (which I make) and this bracket butts up against, this fits 71-73 mustang and cougar and 70-71 torino, cyclone. If the car you are restoring sat for a while this part is most likely rusted away or pitted very badly and finding a nice used is a challenge. My repo is a near perfect stamping, silver zinc plated and has the end rubber dipped as original. On all pictures the originals are on the left and the new repo on the right. Most originals I have seem to have a light coat of black paint or over spray over the plating? I will let this detail up to you. This is a U.S. made part, right here in PA. and if you are not 100% satisfied just return it unused within a week . You will not find this part from any other vendor as I made it and only did a small run so if you are in need do not hesitate. Auction is for 1 repo bracket, and all other items are for reference only. Shipping in U.S. only all other contact me    thanks   Larry H.

2013 Audi A4 Allroad quattro a familiar trailblazer

Fri, 29 Jun 2012

It's no secret we love our high-riding SUVs and crossovers in the United States, but cars still outsell utilities by a 2-to-1 margin. For automakers, that's a clue that there is significant sales potential to buyers who pine for an off-road vehicle but secretly desire a sportier, more carlike cruiser for the highway. For Audi, the answer is the A4 Allroad.

BMW wins engine of year

Wed, 09 May 2007

By Ben Whitworth Motor Industry 09 May 2007 05:51 BMW’s twin turbo 3.0-litre engine – the mighty 306bhp straight six from the 335i - has taken top honours at the 2007 International Engine of the Year Awards, the engineering equivalent of the Oscars. This is an unprecedented third year in a row that BMW has clinched the title of International Engine of the Year Award – in 2006 it was the M6’s V10 that took the title, and the M5’s V10 claimed gold in 2005. Other winners, judged by the panel of 62 motoring journalists from 30 countries across the globe, included Porsche for its biturbo 3.6-litre flat six (unbelievably, the first time Zuffenhausen has won an IEYA award), Toyota for the Prius’ 1.5-litre hybrid unit, and Volkswagen’s TSI twincharger 1.4-litre unit.
