Product Description

The RobinAir 16900 is the ideal tool for the HVAC service repairman to identify what type of refrigerant is flowing through the system.

The unit signals the word Go only if the refrigerant at hand is 98% pure of that type of refrigerant. Go and No Go lights show if the refrigerant is pure enough to be recovered or charged. The unit's dual power source allows you run the unit off of 12V DC or 115V 60Hz AC. Its hydrocarbon alarm protects the user by signaling if potentially dangerous chemicals such as butane or propane is present in the refrigerant.

Features

* Displays percent of air in the A/C system or tank.
* For R-12 and R-134A
* Fast and Accurate - Displays test results in less than a minute and passes the refrigerant only if it's 98% pure. To assure consistent, rapid results, the units are not pressure/temperature dependent.
* Reliable Technology - The instruments use dependable infrared technology developed by Neutronics, Inc., to determine if the refrigerant is an acceptable type and is pure enough to be used.
* Unique Case Design - Puts all the components up front where you can see them at a glance, including the filter. Contoured case can be held in either hand and rubber feet protect the vehicle's finish.

Citroen calls its makeover of the C1 to create the Urban Concept as SUV-inspired with ‘go anywhere looks’.

Phone use penalty 'could double'

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

THE PENALTY for using a mobile phone while driving could be doubled under proposals being examined by the Government as part of a safety drive, Transport Secretary Patrick McLoughlin said. Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe has called for offenders to be handed six points on their licence rather than the present three, meaning a ban from getting behind the wheel if caught twice in three years. Mr McLoughlin said it was an "interesting suggestion" that he was considering in an effort to end the "appalling" number of people killed and seriously injured in accidents where a phone was being used in the hand.
