Audi Q5, Skoda Yeti, & Abarth 500 are the UK’s lowest depreciating cars

Mon, 26 Mar 2012

Audi Q5 - the UK's least depreciating car The key to low-cost motoring has more to do with depreciation than running costs, so pick an Audi Q5, Skoda Yeti or Abarth 500. The difference in residual values of cars after three years can have a huge impact on motoring costs. A £15k car that has strong residual values – like the Audi Q5, Skoda Yeti and Abarth 500, identified as the UK’s lowest depreciating cars by CAP (and published by Auto express) – could be worth as much as £10k after 3 years and 30,000 miles.

Jaguar XKR (2011MY) Review & Road Test

Fri, 12 Nov 2010

A slightly mud spattered Jaguar XKR after yet another 'Brisk' country run If you choose to think about the history of Jaguar, there’s a fair chance you’ll end up thinking about the two cars that have come to epitomise all that Jaguar stood for – the 1961 Jaguar E-Type and the 1968 Jaguar XJ. If you delve further in to the mush that passes for a brain you’ll probably manage to drag up remnants of automotive lust for cars like the XK120 and XK140 or the D-Type or Jaguar SS or maybe even the Jaguar MK II. And those memories will probably reinforce in your mind that Jaguar are makers of classy, swift and desirable sports cars and sports saloons.

Lincoln MKC Revealed. It’s NOT a titivated Ford Kuga/Escape, say Ford

Thu, 14 Nov 2013

The production version of the Lincoln MKC Compact SUV (pictured) has been revealed When Ford divested itself of its premier marques – Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover – it left it with little wriggle room to compete in anything but the mainstream car market. Ford in Europe is trying to address that by launching ‘Vignale’ badged cars which promise to offer more ‘Premium quality’ than its mainstream models, and Ford in the US is doing the same thing by trying to reinvent the Lincoln badge as the answer to German premium models. Step forward the new Lincoln MKC, the production version of the Lincoln MKC Concept we saw at the Detroit Auto Show in January..
