New Shift Plate Automatic Transmission Jaguar Xke Mkx Mkii Mkviii Xj6 on 2040-parts.com
Dayton, Ohio, US
You are purchasing a new shift plate for a Jaguar with automatic transmission.
Please look at the 2nd photo, this is from the XJ6 series III parts manual and this shows the placement of this part but it is NOT the correct part for Series III . This photo is to guide you for placement by the auto trans shifter. We are not sure which car this goes to.
We have limited info in this part. On the nylon part is number C30419 embossed in the nylon (photo 3). On side of the metal bracket has a shaft that goes straight thru and one end of this shaft has a drilled hole (photo 5), the other has a small groove near the end. The other side of the metal bracket has a threaded screw sticking thru.
It came with a note stating C30421 cam plate shift XJ6.
Any info would be helpful. This looks like a wearable piece that might be needed.
New from a British inventory, part number C30421 and C30419, this number is on the nylon piece.
