2014 Porsche Boxster and Cayman GTS revealed

Not content with its stunning Boxster S and Cayman S models, Porsche has released official details of its new range-topping mid-engined duo for 2014: the Porsche Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS. Both cars get more power from their flat-six engines and even more equipment to set them apart from the rest of the range, as well as that famous ‘GTS’ boot badge. It was a real surprise that Honda decided to pull out of F1 for 2009. True, they haven’t yet seen the sort of success that their efforts, and money, should have yielded, but they have a superb product and, more importantly, potentially one of the best set-ups in F1 led by the best of the best, Ross Braun, who was pretty much responsible for the renaissance at Ferrari and Michael Shumacher’s domination of the sport. But there could well be a light at the end of the tunnel for the Honda F1 Team.

Honda S660 Concept revealed – the Honda Beat returns

The Honda S660 Concept (pictured) will debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show It looks like Honda is making a return to the Kei car with the arrival of the Honda S660 Concept ahead of the Tokyo Motor Show next month. The Kei class of car in Japan is small (less than 3.4 metres long) and comes with a raft of tax breaks for buyers, but despite it being designed just for Japan it’s gained a cult following round the world, and now the Honda Beat for the 21st century has arrived in the form of the S660 concept. The S660 Concept – it gets the required maximum 660cc Kei engine limit – is a mid-engined open top roadster that manages to deliver 64bhp from its 3-cylinder engine which, with a weight under 900kg, should be reasonably lively.
