Subaru XV Black Limited Edition: Costs from £24,495

The Subaru XV Black Limited Edition Subaru launched their XV SUV – basically a high-riding Crossover Impreza – back in 2012, and it was a decent offering. But by this summer they were looking to add a bit more fizz to sales and decided there was room to make substantial cuts in the list price of the XV, taking it down by a significant £2300 right across the range. New Hyundai i30 Tourer on sale from £16,195

The new Hyundai i30 Tourer (Estate) will come in  four trim levels and a choice of two engines and cost from £16,195 when it goes on sale in July. Not only has Hyundai UK had their abacus out to come up with a price for the new i30 Tourer (it starts at £16,195) they’ve also had their box brownie out and snapped a few photos of a real live UK Hyundai i30 – including the interior. So now we know the new i30 Estate has an interior that looks just like the i30 Hatch and you don’t have to have a brown paint job.

NHTSA opens investigation into Ford Taurus throttle issue

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched a preliminary investigation into claims of the throttle sticking open on the Ford Taurus from the 2005-06 model years. NHSTA says there are 14 claims of a stuck throttle in the Taurus, possibly because of the cruise-control cable becoming detached. No injuries have been reported.
