The Sigma-Tek 1U128-006 is a pump which carries a warranty for 2-years or 1000 hours. It uses an aluminum rotor and rotor housing, making the pump very resistant to damage from ingestion of foreign objects, excessive loads or engine oil. It provides clean, dry air for operation of air driven instruments in aircraft operating at medium altitudes. Pump rotates clockwise or counterclockwise in vacuum or pressure mode. May be mounted in either a vertical or horizontal position. FAA approved as a direct replacement for all instrument pumps but is not intended for supplying air to deicing boots. Mounting gasket furnished. Install suction regulator in line to instruments. Delivers 6 In. Hg vacuum (2.9-8.5 minimum CEM) or 6 In. Hg pressure (3.7-8.5 minimum CEM) from 1500 to 4000 RPM. Who's Where: Peter Jones appointed Lincoln Interior Design Manager
Fri, 01 Jun 2012Lincoln has appointed Peter Jones as the luxury brand's new interior design manager, a role he will take up within the next few weeks. Jones, who has worked at Ford Australia's design studio for seven years, will report directly to Max Wolff, a former colleague who moved in January 2011 to become Lincoln's Design Director. The Australian designer was interior design manager for the new Ranger and also worked as lead exterior designer on the FG Falcon Ute.
Nissan to open new studio in Beijing
Mon, 15 Mar 2010After last week's announcement of leadership changes at Nissan's North American and European design centers, Nissan Investment Co., Ltd (NCIC), a Nissan subsidiary in China, today revealed plans to expand its global design resources with the establishment of a new design studio in Beijing. "With the addition of 20 designers, Nissan's new studio will enhance our design capabilities, as well as our product competitiveness in China and Asia where the automotive industry continues to see robust growth," said Shiro Nakamura, chief creative officer and senior vice president of design and brand. "Locating the studio where our customers live and work allows us to best respond to their needs and design vehicles that exceed their expectations." Scheduled to open early in 2011, the studio in the Chao Yang district of Beijing will be the first design facility in China established by a Japanese automaker.
