Drivers feeling the squeeze on parking

MOTORISTS are feeling the squeeze on parking - with rising charges and fewer and smaller spaces, according to the RAC. As many as four in five drivers have reported increasing parking charges in towns and cities. And 67% of those drivers believed there was now less parking close to their town or city centre and that parking restrictions had become more stringent where they live.

Car Design Awards China 2012 winners announced

The third annual Car Design Awards China competition came to an end earlier this evening as the winners of the 10 categories were announced along with the nomination for 2012 Student Designer of the Year - Xiao Hangjie, a student at Hunan University. The awards ceremony was held at the studios of CH-Auto in Beijing in the presence of an audience of renowned designers and judges from both domestic and international OEMs, with esteemed designer Chris Bangle acting as master of ceremonies. McLaren P1: New Photos

Just hours ahead of the official reveal of the McLaren P1 supercar we have a new set of photo showing more of the P1. We’ll have to wait until tomorrow for any technical details of what McLaren has put under the skin of the P1, but we do now have far more P1 photos to make a judgement on how it looks. The first three photos showed us the backend, side view and front three quarters of the P1, but now we get to see the P1 in almost all its glory in these new photos.
