2013 Kia Pro_cee’d revealed

Ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show we have the first photos of the 2013 Kia Pro_cee’d, a sporty 3 door take on the new cee’d. Back in March we had what appeared to be the first leaked sketch of the 2013 Kia Pro_cee’d – Kia’s three-door sporty take on the new cee’d – but since then, nothing. But we’ve now got the first photos of the new Pro_cee’d ahead of its reveal at the Paris Motor Show in a week or two, and it looks convincing.

Yet another well styled, curvaceous family estate in the vein of the Citroen C5, Ford Mondeo and Honda Accord, it begs the question: is the large boxy load-lugger now officially dead?   The curving roofline – with integrated rear spoiler to visually extend it even further – plus a much more shapely rear end consign the very square old Vectra estate to history. Volvo's Mean Green semi breaks records in Utah

The Volvo hybrid truck, a.k.a. Mean Green, achieved two world speed records at Wendover Airfield in Utah, one for the standing kilometer and one for the flying kilometer. It didn't hit its planned top velocity of 165 mph, but 147 mph is still a respectable speed for a truck originally meant for hauling trailers down a highway.
