This is 100% new part, for 1.7, 1.8 and 2.0 air cooled engine in VW type iv, VW late bus/Transporter, Porsche 914 and late Porsche 912 engines. This is new, made in USA, type iv thermostat PULLEY with special bolt. This pulley contains an actual bearing, not just a bronze bushing that will wear out. This should last a very long time.

For the 1.7, 1.8 & 2.0 VW type IV (68-74), VW Transporter (bus) (72-83), late Porsche 912 (68-76) & Porsche 914 (70-76) engines 

This includes both 1 new pulley and 1 new bolt + new washers.




MG6 BTCC Edition celebrates MG going racing

MG has revealed a special edition of the MG6 – the MG6 BTCC Edition – to celebrate a return to BTCC racing. MG doesn’t exactly have a plethora of models to offer car buyers, but its’ making the most of its inherited heritage by taking the MG6 in to the British Touring Car Championship, and to celebrate it’s launched a new model to cast a sporty glow back on the marque. The MG6 BTCc Edition gets a 1.8 litre turbo petrol offering 158bhp, not enough to win a BTCC race but enough to get the road car to 62mph in 8.4 seconds and on to a slightly asthmatic 120mph.

GM posts $7.6 billion profit for 2011

General Motors on Thursday posted a $7.6 billion profit for 2011, while recording its smallest quarterly profit of the year in the fourth quarter. Net income for the October-through-December period fell 7 percent from the year-earlier period to $472 million, as a $562 million loss in Europe--the steepest of the year there--weighed on the automaker's bottom line. North American earnings nearly doubled.
