BMW X6

BMW rolled the dice with the original X6, but soon realized its problem would be lack of production capacity at its plant in Spartanburg, SC than a lack of customers - over 250,000 X6s have found homes since it arrived in 2008. Citroën DS5

Also revealed before the Shanghai show begins, is the latest Citroën to wear the DS moniker. The DS5 is said to fully express Citroën's 'Créative Technologie', combining 'style with innovative engineering solutions'. The DS5 is based on the C-SportLounge concept and takes the DS brand into the luxury segment.

Coventry University MA Design Show 2007

Coventry University's MA Automotive Design Show, now in its fifteenth year, recently had its annual exhibition in Coventry's Transport Museum. Entitled 'InGenius', the exhibition presented work which covered a spectrum of vehicle concepts, including public transport systems. The projects were presented as scale models and digital animated presentations using CAD modeling tools.
