These polished stainless steel U-joints look great and use a pinch bolt on each end for easy installation. NOTE: This u-joint contains a safety feature that requires the DD steering shaft to be notched for pinch bolt clearance. Once notched, the pinch bolt MUST be torqued to 45 ft/lbs to ensure a tight fit.

Tech Tip #1: When using more than two universal joints in a system, a support heim must be used.
Tech Tip #2: Increasing a U-Joint's angle of operation beyond 30° dramatically increases the stress on the joint, weakening the whole steering mechanism. If a greater angle is needed, add another u-joint. |
