Here we have a new universal steel fuel tank for use on almost any project. Our part number is U2-A They are built by Tanks Inc. and measure 36" x 10 1/4" x 14 1/4". 18 gallon capacity. Internally baffled to minimize sloshing. Includes 3/8" pick-up tube & vent, mounting flanges at each end & threaded bolt-on neck & billet cap.(this tank does not have welded in fittings as shown in the photo) They 'DO NOT' include 'NOR' accept any stock fuel gauge sending units, but do accept the common 5 bolt universal style as used by Autometer, Classic, Stewart Warner, Omega and others. On May Day in 2009 we reported that Chrysler had been put in to Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and the US Government was stepping in to ease the pain with $7.5 billion (admittedly at somewhat less than mates-rates) and that the management were ‘leaving the building’. Step forward Fiat to take up a 20% stake in Chrysler and Fiat boss, Sergio Marchionne, who planned to lead Chrysler away from the dark side and in to the light, with the promise of smaller and more efficient platforms and engines.
