This does not incorporate an inspection cover, but has revised integral water passage that will need drilled and tapped for improved coolant flow from the front and rear of the cylinder heads. When the press release came in for the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo, we were a bit surprised to learn that Skoda has been playing in Motorsport for 110 years. We knew they had a noble history before communism relegated them to skip-on-wheels status, but we’re ashamed to confess we knew nothing of their early Motorsport history. We knew of the profile Skoda had in the ’70s with success in rallying, which juxtaposed jarringly with the general perception of their cars.

Nissan today announced its new Qazana concept car – a smaller brother to the Qashqai crossover. The Qazana will morph into a production car in 2010 and the new small crossover will be manufactured in the UK's Sunderland factory, securing 1100 jobs according to Nissan. The Qazana will be the centrepiece of Nissan's stand at the 2009 Geneva motor show.

The Aston Martin V12 Zagato Production Car
We’ve had lots of Aston Martin V12 Zagato goodness over the last few months, from the first showing at Villa d’Este all the way up to the revealation (as if there was any doubt) that the V12 Zagato would go in to limited production. But so far all we’ve really has is the track version of the Zagato. Even at the V12 Zagato’s reveal at Villa d’Este it was still the track version – just without its great big back wing.
