Nissan to build sporty crossover in the UK

The model is an addition to Nissan’s current range and is described as an ‘innovative all-new compact car’. The new car is expected to be a crossover model, with Nissan previously having stated it wishes to expand its line-up beyond Qashqai, Qashqai+2 and the forthcoming Murano.

Three versions of the 1.6 TDi are offered – a 90PS version, a 105PS version and a 105PS BlueMotion version. VW has achieved the lower emissions with aerodynamic tweaks, longer gear ratios and regenerative braking.
