The new double DIN sized, DDN-888W Navigation/DVD Receiver from Valor Multimedia is our latest, feature-packed product. The Valor DDN-888W features full built-in GPS navigation and DVD playback on a high quality 6.9-inch touch screen TFT LCD. An unusual feature is the way the entire LCD screen is fully detachable, providing both security and convenience. The widescreen LCD has full 800x480 resolution, with a total of 384,000 pixels and utilizes a seven position tilt function for maximum viewing satisfaction. Also incorporated into the DDN-888W is Bluetooth connectivity for hands free cell phone functionality and A2DP playback of music as well. The fully featured GPS system uses mapping from Navteq, with the entire USA mapping database stored on a single supplied 4GB SD card, with 11 million points of interest. Because the GPS system is primarily housed in the detachable faceplate, you can remove the faceplate and take it with you on trips as a portable Navigation (Portable Package Sold Separately). Mapping can be viewed in either 2D or 3D modes, and voice guidance is also provided to make finding your destination easy and safe. Plus, there are no worries about running out of storage space for your mapping, because the DDN-888W will support memory cards up to 16GB. The GPS system is driven by a 500MHz processor for high speed routing and automatic rerouting performance

Bentley Continental GT Speed gets more power & Bentley Flying Spur gets V8

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

The 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed gets a makeover and more power Perhaps the arrival of the new Mercedes S-Class Coupe – especially as the S 63 AMG Coupe – has spurred Bentley on to make their cars a bit more special, but whatever the reason the 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed offers more power and more options than ever before. Power in the 6.0 litre V12 has been pushed up to 626bhp and 605lb/ft of torque which means top speed goes up to 206mph (203mph for the convertible), making the new GT Speed the fastest production Bentley ever. There are more tweaks under the skin too with a lowered chassis and stiffer suspension and cosmetic tweaks too with the front splitter, side skirts and  rear diffuser now painted in body colour, dark tinted 21″ alloys, headlights and tail lights, red brake callipers and a chrome ‘Speed’ badge on the front wing.

Stracke, a German native, has led GM's global vehicle engineering operations for the past 15 months.

Lotus Evora – all new photos

Sat, 02 May 2009

All new pictures of the Lotus Evora - to be launched in the UK in June It does seem to have taken for ever to get the Lotus Evora in to showrooms – it’s been coming for almost a year now. We did finally get Lotus Evora specifications and UK prices back in March, but even though the launch has once again been put back (from May until June) the release of these photos is clear evidence that finally the Lotus Evora is about ready. The first four-seater Lotus in an age (although it’s really a 2+2, and then only if you pay extra for the rear seats), the Evora has a mid-engined 3.5 litre V6 Toyota lump, fettled and sorted by Lotus to produce 276bhp.
