Racers ER / Fastheads.com has assembled a complete valve adjusting kit including shims and the needed measuring tools to properly adjust motorcycle shim type valve trains.  This particular  package is for 450cc and larger Japanese motocross motors using 9.48 diameter shims.  The shim kit comes in two marked and divided containers with three shims each size from 1.20 to 3.50mm in increments of .05mm / .002".  They won't fit the 450 KTM.  A 32 blade metric thin top tapered feeler gauge set 0.03mm/.001" to 1mm/.040" 95mm long.  The smaller sizes are in half thousandths, perfect for checking shim bucket type valve trains.  These tools will also let you check most all other engine clearences.   Also included is the Racers ER / Fastheads.com guide on "Understanding valve adjustments and creating a reliable dirt bike head".

Aston Martin today announced a deal with Italian private equity fund Investindustrial, securing a £150m investment to own a 37.5% stake in the business. Aston Martin hopes this should secure the long-term future of the beloved but hitherto financially wobbly sports car maker. Together with the new owners, it announced a £500m investment in future product.
