PLEASE READ ***ENTIRE*** LISTING

BEFORE YOU BUY.  THANK YOU.

Due to dfficulties with some buyers who purchase our listings without reading the description, PLEASE NOTE:  If you have less than 10 feedback, you must contact use prior to purchase or we will cancel the transaction.  Thank you for your consideration in this regard.

This listing is for a NEW GM PCM (powertrain control module) for 2000 Intrigue with 3.5L LX5 (VIN H).  Service number 09378702, hardware number 09360210 This PCM was also installed in some other 2000+ V6 applications but was superceded by newer design units with different service numbers.  PLEASE CHECK your module service number BEFORE you buy.  If it is different or you are not sure, please find the correct module in one of our other listings or contact us with your VIN.

NOTE:  The service number provided here is to help you confirm compatibility with YOUR unit.  There are various numbers that interchange plus they are occasionally updated.  The PCM you receive may have a different (or no) service number on it.  This is normal.  The PCM you receive will be the correct unit for your application.

It is your or your mechanic's responsibility to properly diagnose a faulty ECM.  Please do not contact us discussing your vehicle symptoms asking us to confirm your diagnosis that your ECM is bad.  We sell and program ECMs, we cannot troubleshoot your vehicle problems remotely.  If you misdiagnosed your problem and it was not a faulty ECM, we do NOT accept returns on that basis; the ECM comes with 30 day EXCHANGE warranty only.

IMPORTANT #1:  This ECM requires factory programming for your VIN.  What does this mean and why is this necessary?  This does not just mean a 17-digit VIN is "burned into the ECM".   The entire flash memory is erased and rewritten with the correct GM program for your vehicle (AND the VIN is changed to match yours).  That's why you can't just install any used ECM with matching service number; it may not work correctly or at all.  The problem is not just "the VIN" but the entire program has to exactly match all your vehicle specs -- engine, trans, axle/tires, fuel system, security system, emissions, many other options, etc.  The VIN only serves as a pointer to download the entire correct program from GM database to your ECM.

***** We will program this ECM with latest GM calibration for your VIN using licensed GM SPS software and genuine GM MDI scan tool.  Please message us after purchase with (1) your VIN and (2) your phone # for faster contact in case we need additional info about your vehicle.  Please confirm your VIN 1st on autocheck.com to avoid delays due to mistakes/typos in the VIN. *****

***** If you don't want the ECM programmed, you must tell us so explicitly.  If we receive no VIN or other instructions with your purchase we cannot process the order -- we will issue a refund and cancel the transaction. *****

We are licensed users of exactly the same GM service programming system that GM dealers use.  In addition, we have many special programming tools  and years of experience custom mapping 1,000s of ECMs.  Custom mapping means we change various parameters in factory program to achieve specific results.

IMPORTANT #2:  This ECM will not be plug-and-play.  A programmed replacement ECM usually requires VATS (vehicle anti-theft system) relearn after 1st installation into your vehicle.  If VATS relearn is required, engine will NOT run until it is performed, CORRECTLY.  For VATS relearn instructions, click HERE.  AFTER vehicle is running, CASE (crankshaft angle sensor error) relearn may also be required -- this is indicated by DTC (diagnostic trouble code) P0315 or P1336.   CASE relearn requires a capable scan tool (such as GM Tech 2) and cannot be performed manually.  If any of this is unclear, please google "GM VATS relearn" and "GM CASE relearn".  Relearns are YOUR responsibility.

***** If you want to the ECM to be PLUG-and-PLAY by avoiding either or both relearns, we can disable them for $75.  The ECM will then be PLUG-and-PLAY; you just install it and start the vehicle.  Disabling the VATS does defeat the theft-deterrent system, so choose accordingly.  Disabling CASE relearn (the bigger headache of the 2 because it cannot be done manually) is harmless -- misfire detection is NOT compromised.  Ebay sellers who say otherwise in their listings are spreading misinformation deliberately or don't know what they are talking about.  This is done to discourage you to buy from us for special programming options that they can't offer (if they could they would, instead of telling you it's "bad for you").  Full custom programming is also available for $250 (performance/economy/cams/swaps/etc).  Contact us for details. *****

SHIPPING:  FREE USPS priority mail shipping to USA (2-3 business days).  Processing is 1-2 business days, i.e., that is how long it takes to ship the ECM.  USPS Express mail (generally overnight depending on your location) available for additional $35, please inquire and separate paypal bill for express mail will be sent.  The processing time (1-2 business days) does not change, just shipping transit time.

GUARANTEE 30 DAY EXCHANGE WARRANTY ONLY.  Refund will be given only if no replacement ECMs are available in stock.  By purchasing this listing you are acknowledging that you have read, understood and agree to all the terms and conditions herein.

Honda Electric Sports car Concept at Tokyo & six more concepts too

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

Honda Small Sports EV Concept at Tokyo Home Motor Shows are car makers’ favourites, so with the Tokyo Motor Show just round the corner Honda has revealed plans for seven concepts at the show including a small electric roadster and a plug-in hybrid – the Honda AC-X. Honda’s display at the Tokyo Show is going to be the biggest of any car maker. The headline act – certainly from a petrolhead’s point of view – is probably going to be Honda’s Small Sport EV Concept.

By James Foxall Motor Shows 02 April 2009 14:49 What’s new on Ssangyong’s Seoul motor show stand? There was palpable relief on the Ssangyong stand in Seoul as the motor show press day followed a company conference where its rejuvenation package had been outlined to worried importers. This is being led by the C200, a Nissan Qashqai-style crossover SUV that will come in both two -and four-wheel drive formats. Production of Ssangyong’s first ever monocoque car starts in November 2009 and it’ll be on sale in the UK for March 2010, promising a cheap alternative to traditional makers.

Volkswagen XL1 Super Efficient Vehicle (SEV) spy video

Fri, 23 Mar 2012

Volkswagen XL1 caught on video The Volkswagen XL1 – a super efficient diesel hybrid – caught on video winter testing and undisguised. The VW XL1 arrived at the Qatar Motor Show in 2011, a two-seater diesel-electric hybrid with a design that looks like it came from a 1920s view of the future, and claims of a gazillion miles to the gallon. At the time VW debuted the XL1 we reckoned there was as much chance of it going in to production as McLaren’s latest Formula One car making it in to a showroom, and that the XL1 was just a test bed for all the future tech that might just find its way in to Volkswagen’s road cars.
