Lamborghini Urus SUV to cost £135,000

It’s being claimed by Georg Kacher that the Lamborghini SUV – the Lamborghini Urus – will cost £135,000 when it launches in 2016. Even if the VW board are yet to sign off on the Lamborghini Urus SUV, there’s almost zero chance it won’t make it in to production. With the 2013 Range Rover heading even more upmarket, the Bentley SUV heading for market in 2015 and endless super-SUVs from car customisers the super luxury SUV market is not one Lamborghini can afford to miss out on.

Pininfarina reveals New Stratos

Pininfarina has revealed a one-off supercar called the New Stratos for German collector Michael Stoscheck. The car has a 4.3-liter V8 and is meant to channel the spirit of the legendary Lancia Stratos rally car of the 1970s. It was shown on Monday on the Paul Ricard circuit at Le Castellet.

Toyota Motor Corp., under fire from fresh quality complaints about its popular Prius hybrid, says it conducted a software fix to address reports of slipping brakes. But the world's biggest carmaker didn't notify customers at the time of the change. And it says it is still uncertain how to handle the thousands of Prius vehicles that were sold before the fix.
