Automatic three-stage charging provides superior 12-volt system performance while maintaining the ideal charge and maintenance of your battery.

WF8735 model converters provide 35 Amps-DC outputs, and a highly reliable nominal 13.6 VDC with or without a battery, no extra filtering is required.

WFCO’s three-stage battery charging results in longer battery life, and is totally automatic. Nominal voltage output modes are a 13.2 VDC float” mode, 13.6 VDC “absorption” charge mode, and a 14.4 VDC “bulk” charge mode. Short circuit and reverse polarity protections provide you with further reliability and peace of mind. The cooling fan for the WF-8735 operates only when needed and ensures quiet operation. Front cooled fan installation does not create additional installation space requirements.

Every model is FCC Class B compliance which means the converters do not cause interference with televisions, radios, and other signals. The 8735 model also brings you the convenience of built-in AC/DC distribution. Thirty-Amp main AC breaker and total of up to 5 20-Amp branch AC circuits can be installed. Six DC branch circuits include LED bulbs which illuminate to indicate open circuits.

      Tue, 15 Jan 2008

Michelin today announced the 2009 theme for its global vehicle design competition, Michelin Challenge Design (MCD), asking entrants to explore the future of transportation and share their brave and bold vision for 'America's Next Iconic Vehicle.' Additional consideration will be given to entries with attributes that benefit safety and the environment and include a separate rendering of the tire and wheel component assembly.   Vehicle designs that best represent "Brave + Bold, America's Next Iconic Vehicle" will be reviewed by a jury of professional designers whose names will be announced later in 2008.

2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon announced

      Tue, 13 Nov 2012

Ford has introduced the 2014 Transit Connect Wagon, a vehicle the automaker is calling “so unique it is a revolution in seven-passenger transportation.” We won't know whether or not it is truly revolutionary until we can get behind the wheel, but at first glance, the new vehicle appears to be a very tall wagon or a small minivan, or a Transit Connect with larger windows. The Transit Connect Wagon is tied to Ford's current car lineup aesthetically via the characteristic Blue Oval hexagonal grille, but it's the van/wagon's utility that will likely become its biggest selling point. Ford claims the Transit Connect Wagon will be able to swallow a 1,200 lb.
