6712 Series pads fit DynaPro 6 Calipers (DP6)

This "box" of brake pads includes 4 pads (or enough to accommodate 2 wheels).

Polymatrix A Pad Compound:

  • Lightweight sprints and club sport racers using steel plate rotors that require fast response at low temperatures with resistance to fade during periodic or temporary high temperature spikes.
  • Long wear rate for severe duty, sustained high temperature braking.
  • Immediate low temperature response for qualifying laps, restarts, and any other applications requiring high response at low temperatures.
  • Compatible with iron, steel, and titanium rotors.

Polymatrix A Pad Compound is a Race ONLY compound used in ARCA, ASA, ALMS, Grand-AM, NASCAR, REMAX, SCCA, USAC, and other severe duty oval, road course, and off-road series that require an aggressive response and durability in the highest temperature ranges.  Lightweight sprints and club sport racers using steel plate rotors that require fast response at low temperatures with resistance to fade during periodic or temporary high temperature spikes.

Mercedes-Benz inaugurated its global Advanced Design Center in Beijing, China, yesterday, Thursday July 21. The Beijing design center, Daimler's fifth advanced design studio worldwide, further reinforces the growing importance of the Chinese auto market and Beijing in particular; the city is increasingly influencing changing needs and trends. The new 1,000 square meter Advanced Design Studio employs a total of around 20 designers who will contribute to the future design of Mercedes-Benz automobiles, competing and working with the company's other studios in Germany, Italy, Japan and the USA.

Sinkhole Corvettes to be displayed before restoration

It's going to take a while to get the eight historic Chevrolet Corvettes that were consumed by a sinkhole at the National Corvette Museum two weeks ago out of that sinkhole -- just getting a specialized crane through the doors of the museum will take time. Afterward, though, the public will be able to get a look at them in their damaged state before Chevrolet has them restored. The museum has told the Detroit Free Press that the damaged cars will be on display at the National Corvette Museum from April through June of this year, once they're exhumed.

Porsche has revealed its latest limited-run sports car: the Cayman S Black Edition. Created as a send-off for the current Cayman lineup, which is set to be replaced within the next 12 months, the coupe is planned to go on sale in July with a more powerful engine, a larger wheel-and-tire package and greater standard-equipment levels than those of the existing Cayman S. Taking a page from Henry Ford, the Cayman S Black Edition is available in any color you like--as long as it's black Inside, the Porsche gets black trims, black sport seats, a sport steering wheel, darkened instrument graphics, stainless-steel scuff plates with “Black Edition” inscriptions and a commemorative badge identifying it as one of a limited build of 500 units.
