A few months ago, the product plan at the Italian automaker centered around the existing MiTo and Giulietta (cousins of the 500 and Dart, respectively), the almost-at-hand 4C, the upcoming Giulia sedan and the Duetto, a roadster based on the next Miata. The BMW i8 being filmed for BMW TV Just the other day we brought you the BMW i3 out playing in Scandinavia so, to complete the set, we thought we’d add to that with the BMW i8 doing exactly the same. These photos of the i8 being snapped in the snow are being reported as camouflaged cold-weather testing for BMW’s new “i” range of cars. Which – if you look carefully at the front of the i8 above – would seem unlikely.

Volvo Concept You - Volvo's future direction We have to confess that we weren’t huge fans of the Volvo Concept Universe at Shanghai this year, but the Frankfurt offering – the Volvo Concept You – is more convincing. The Concept Universe at Shanghai was just a bit too much ‘East meets West’ in design, with the feeling that it was just not quite the right direction for a new, more upmarket Volvo to follow. But the Concept You is more convincing.
