Our shipping preference is to use some form of USPS 'Priority Mail'.  When appropriate we will opt for that method.  The buyer will not pay additional cost beyond the original estimate. 

 Most "Welcome to the Lake" items do not qualify for 'Flat Rate Priority Mail' because they don't fit into USPS required boxes or do not weigh enough to be eligible for savings.

 USPS mail that weighs under 13.0 ounces may be sent via 'First Class Mail'.  Over 13.1 ounces is ‘ship to location’ and calculated in one pound increments.  Example - an item weighing 1 pound and 1 ounce will ship at the calculated 2 pound rate.  'Priority Mail' costs are calculated on the distances between the shipping point and the buyers receipt point.

 In the event final shipping weight is less than the estimated weight at the time of sale, any significant difference will be applied to the buyer's PayPal account.

A shipping/handling charge of $1.50 per package is added to the calculated postage amount to cover the cost of shipping materials.
