The specially engineered polymer is soft at rest and instantly stiffens on impact absorbing the shock and dissipating energy. 3/8” thick pads will not wear out, melt, or freeze. Attach permanently with adhesive or temporarily with Velcro. Fits any seat and works with existing seat covers and padding.

I installed this on the seat of my racing kart. Before the vibration was so severe that I hated driving it. Afterwards the vibration was eliminated to the point I thought I was in a different kart. This really made the difference in long enduro races.

We saw the initial design study at the 2012 Paris motor show, and shortly afterwards, CAR spied disguised prototypes putting in the hard testing yards on the mountain roads of Spain. By the 2013 Geneva motor show, McLaren was ready to pull the wraps off the finished (and barely altered) P1 design, and give us hints to some of the performance figures offered by a carbonfibre, aero-focused missile using a combination of twin-turbo V8 and electric boost power.
