Michelin Challenge Design announces 2007 theme and call for entries

At the 2006 North American International Auto Show, Michelin Challenge Design announced its theme for the 2007 Challenge. Michelin Challenge Design will ask entrants to explore the future of transportation design using safety as the focus and inspiration. For 2007, the challenge is to design a vehicle for the North American market that enhances overall road safety, incorporating safety features for the occupants, but also for others who share the road.

Chevrolet announced it will be video streaming the reveal of its much-anticipated 2015 Corvette Z06 from the Detroit auto show floor, and you can catch the whole event below. Ex-Ford engineer charged with stealing trade secrets

A former Ford Motor Co. engineer has been charged with stealing trade secrets from the automaker after accepting a job in China in 2006. Xiang Dong Yu, 47, was arrested Wednesday at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago after traveling to the United States from China.
