Ford completes sale of Volvo to China's Geely

Ford said today it has completed the sale of Volvo Cars to Zhejiang Geely Holding Group for $1.8 billion. Divesting Volvo completes Ford CEO Alan Mulally's strategy of exiting European luxury brands to focus on the core Ford brand, following the U.S. carmaker's 2007 sale of Aston Martin, and of Jaguar and Land Rover to India's Tata Motors Ltd.

Chevy to auction first Z06 for Karmanos Cancer Institute

Chevrolet is continuing its tradition of donating its first production model of a new vehicle to be auctioned for charity: The first production 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will be sold at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach, Fla. event on April 12. Suzuki goes to the dogs with Super Bowl ad and free pet ID tags

Suzuki on Thursday released its 60-second Super Bowl commercial that highlights the all-wheel-drive version of the Suzuki Kizashi Sport. This is the second consecutive winter-themed Super Bowl commercial for Suzuki. Last year, the Kizashi battled “wicked weather” snowmen inspired by the comic strip “Calvin and Hobbes.” The new ad features Inuit people and their sled dogs.
