V-Line No. 30 is the long-life spark plug BKR6EQUP developed in close cooperation between BMW and NGK, which is equipped with a platinum middle electrode and 4 earth electrodes together with state-of-the-art semi-surface gap spark plug.
  The semi-surface gap spark plug requires a special design of the insulator tip. This ensures that the ignition spark always only jumps between the electrodes which offer the most favorable conditions for reliable ignition of the fuel/air mixture. In view of the fact that the ignition spark slides over the insulator tip first before it can jump over the air gap between insulator tip and
earth electrode, any deposits accumulated here are removed immediately, reliably preventing any misfiring. This therefore guarantees optimum cold start behavior at very low temperatures and greatest ignition reliability even when the vehicle is only driven for extremely short distances. The spark of the patented V-Groove of the V-Line Spark plug always ignites at the side. This leads to optimal combustion which saves fuel, avoids misfiring, protects the environment and the catalyst.

Spyker, Youngman plan to build Saab-based cars

Dutch supercar maker Spyker says it will form two joint ventures with China's Zhejiang Youngman to produce Saab-based vehicles and a luxury SUV under the terms of a deal that will give Youngman a 29.9-percent share in Spyker. Youngman was one of the Chinese companies Spyker turned to for investment when it was trying to revive the Saab brand under its ownership. After failing to get approval for the sale from General Motors, a former Saab owner, the deal with Youngman collapsed and Saab was declared bankrupt in December 2011.
