Tue, 04 Jun 2013The facelift for the Nissan Micra aims to up quality We got a preview of the facelift for the 2013/2014 Nissan Micra back in March when the New Nissan March arrived in Thailand, but we now we get the official reveal on the Micra facelift for the UK and Europe. And it was needed. Nissan’s decision to move production of the Micra from the UK to India and Thailand has led to a big drop in perceived quality resulting in poor sales in Europe and a big need for Nissan to up the quality and equipment offered by the Micra.
Suzuki take Volkswagen to court

VW wanted an easy way in to the car market in India – where Suzuki is very strong – and in return Suzuki wanted access to the sort of technology – hybrid and EV – it couldn’t really afford to develop independently. And all looked rosy when VW took a near 20 per cent stake in Suzuki in 2009 But things started to go a bit awry when VW insensitively referred to Suzuki as an ‘associate’, where it could pull all the right strings, in its annual report.

Thu, 20 Nov 2008The Lamborghini LP560 has been with us for a few months now, so bang on cue Lamborghini has announced the convertible version – The Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder (what a mouthful – I think we’ll just stick with ‘LP560′). The Spyder version of the original Gallardo was always one of our favourites. It gave away so little to the hard-top version it really made sense to have the convertible – a rare thing with a performance car.
