SHIPPING COST: Please be aware that Ebay/PayPal now takes about a 15% fee out of what the buyer pays for shipping cost. The seller does not receive all of what the buyer pays for shipping & this “fee” must be added to actual shipping costs (postage, cartons, padding material etc.) just to break even on shipping. On large & heavy items with high postage, this can be a significant amount. I pack items to arrive safely & I try very hard to just break even & not to over charge on shipping. I, also, refund any significant overpayment above my actual total shipping costs back to the buyer.

By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 24 November 2008 17:29 The European Union is close to agreement on a radically lower CO2 limit to apply to all new cars, diplomats indicated today. The EU’s 27 governments are set to agree a Europe-wide limit of 130g/km as a new-car average by 2015, according to sources in Brussels. The deal is likely to start from 2012, with full compliance three years later.

Which is why Audi has been busy tweaking the Audi A1 1.6 TDI. Since launch, the A1 1.6 TDI has been churning out 105g/km which, although it’s all of tuppence a week, gets charged VED simply because the government has decreed Co2 to be the measure of a car’s frugality (it’s not).

Peugeot at the London motor show 2008

By Guy Bird and CAR reader reporter SandyT Motor Shows 24 July 2008 10:29 Pride of place might have gone to the UK unveil of the RCZ concept but a scissor-door Irmscher 207 GTi was the real surprise on the Peugeot stand. The 207 GTi by Irmscher is a study of how far a highly tricked-out production Peugeot could look. It’s no clunky concept either.
