What I have up for bids here is a very neat 1956 Evinrude Big Twin Lark 30hp electric start-remote steer outboard engine with wiring harness that we got in with 112 vintage outboards coming from a shop that closed down in 1976! Yes 1976! This motor would be perfect for the guy who is looking for a vintage 30hp to go with the classic 1950s/1960s boat, or maybe for the guy who collects vintage outboards and whos looking for new motors for his collection .Either way I think you will find this motor to be a great buy and find at our opening bid of $49.99 and a reserve set at $295.99 .If you have been pricing vintage outboard engines, I think you will find our 30hp Evinrude to be a great buy and find!!! Now heres what you will get,

(1)1956 Evinrude Big Twin model 25526 30hp electric start-remote steer outboard engine as shown below with electric start wiring harness as show above and below.. As noted we got this engine in from a shop that we bought out and closed in 1976. All inventory and outboards have been in this building/shop since 1976 and have been untouched and this engine came from this inventory. Engine as you can see appears to be all original and good overall condition for its age. We poured a little gas into each cylinder and the engine popped right off and ran,, but again this engine was sitting for a long time and I would recommend a carb kit, or least pulling the carb apart to make sure its clean, if you plan on actually using the engine, along with maybe a new set of points. Again being this engine was not used for quite a long time, I would recommend that the new owner go over everything just to make sure its sea-worthly. Engine has great compression and dont believe would need much to put her back on the water. I have personally looked the engine over and I dont see any missing parts other then the one side "Lark" emblem and I dont see any modifications to any of the components and the engine appears to be an untouched original. The shift handle is cracked off, from us moving the engine, but Iam including a new one with the engine. Also if you look the engine is quite clean for its age and I would assume was maintained quite well by the previous owner at some point. This is definately one of the better 1950s outboards we have seen in a long time but I will let the new owner be the judge. Below I have attached 20 pictures of the engine from every angle to give you a better idea of condition and style of the engine. Please review all pictures before bidding on the engine and please if you have any questions, ask them before the auction ends.

If you have been looking for a classic 30hp outboard engine to go on that vintage wooden boat, vintage aluminum boat, vintage runabout or maybe you just want a 1950s 30hp Evinrude Big Twin engine for your collection I think you will find this engine to be a great buy and find.

Now in regard to getting the engine to the new owner. The motor is located at our shop in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin. Boulder is approximately 6hrs north of Chicago, 4 1/2hrs northwest of the Twin Cities and 1 1/2hrs north of Wausau, Wi. You are welcome to pick up the outboard at our home-shop or we will gladly ship it to you via freight. If shipping freight, the buyer is responsible for lining up the shipper, all paperwork and all costs. We will pallet the engine for free, but again the buyer must line up the shipping details. I would recommend trying USHIP for a quite, shipping from 54512.. Another option is I travel to Illinois quite frequently on business and I would be glad to bring the motor down on my next trip for free but the motor MUST be payed for in full beforehand, no exceptions. I will help out gladly within reason on getting the motor to the new owner.

As far as payment, all payments must be made and payed for in full with 3 days or auction closing.. If you need more time, please email us before bidding to set up these arrangements.

Again below I have attached 20 pictures of the motor, but if you have any questions, contact us please before the auction ends. Please also review all info and pics before placing your bid. We also ask that you review our feedback at 10000 positive and see we are an honest and reputable seller in the Ebay community. We thank you for viewing our auctions and wish you good luck!

Hamilton clairifies Vettel comments

Tue, 08 Oct 2013

LEWIS HAMILTON has been forced to clarify comments after suggesting Sebastian Vettel was boring Formula One fans. Hamilton voiced his frustration in the wake of Sunday's Korean Grand Prix as Vettel won his fourth successive race to stretch his championship lead over Fernando Alonso to 77 points. With Vettel now on the brink of his fourth consecutive world title ahead of this weekend's race in Japan, Hamilton likened the 26-year-old's domination to that of Michael Schumacher a decade ago.

GM to sell bifuel Chevrolet and GMC trucks

Wed, 18 Apr 2012

While gasoline hovers at about four bucks a gallon, natural gas is priced at the equivalent of $1.89 per gallon. Chevrolet and GMC are hoping to take advantage of that disparity by offering bi-fuel heavy-duty pickups for fleet and retail customers beginning on April 19, the day before Earth Day. The bi-fuel option will cost buyers $11,000, on top of the price of the pickups.
