 Up for auction is a 2000 Mercury 225 EFI outboard motor with 20" long shaft. This motor came to me on a 2000 21' Hawk High Performance bass boat with a lost title. I will sell motor alone for $4500, or I would consider selling whole boat with motor and nice tandem axle trailer with brand new tires for $7500 whole package. Boat has nice jackplate 10" of setback and 6" of lift, Seastar pro Hydraulic steering, blinker trim switch on helm, hot foot throttle, trolling motor, and an locator. Locator is nothing special, couple years old Eagle I believe. Its a rock solid boat, and very fast! GPS was showing 73 mph with just me in boat slightly trimmed out. Motor is a freshwater only engine, never seen any saltwater. Its oil injected and electronic fuel injected, has low water pick up gearcase that owner said he had bought new last summer and its suppose to only have about 10 hours on it. If someone wants whole package, I do not have a title for the boat, he could not find it. I did get the registration for the boat in his name, boat will be easy to title just need to go through the steps and I don't feel like farting with it. If someone just wants the engine, I will pull it and sell it off and just title boat over the winter when I have time to mess with it. This motor has excellent compression on all 6 cylinders, motor only had Amsoil run through it so cylinders look great!!  I will include a nice Trophy stainless 4 blade propeller, nice set of controls and the oil tank with it.

Shipping will be $150 to any of the lower 48 states. I will ship this to a business or a residential address. I will also set up shipping for the buyer, not a problem. You will need to email me all your shipping info at auction end. If you need this shipped to a residential address and do not have a way to unload it off the back of semi, let me know and I will order you a liftgate service ($40 extra) and truck driver will bring a special truck with a hydraulic dock plate and he will unload it for you!!! You will need to let me know if you need this service.

UK car drivers are happier with their cars than ever before, according to a survey of over 50,000 motorists. The Driver Power survey by Auto Express found that the average satisfaction rating of a car in the top 100 was 88.36% - a rise of 7% compared to when the survey was launched in 2002. When completing the survey, owners are asked to rate their cars for factors from reliability to running costs and from comfort to ease of driving.

New Ford Mondeo to get new 1.5 litre EcoBoost engine

The new EcoBoost engine will also be turning up in the Ford Fusion for North America, but the UK and Europe are going to have to wait until at least the end of 2014 – when we get the new Mondeo - before the new engine is on offer. The 1.5 litre EcoBoost offers improved economy and emissions compared to the 1.6 litre currently available  - with similar power, performance and torque compared –  but one of the main reasons for offering it is that many countries offer tax breaks for engines under 1.5 litres. The new engine will be built by Ford In Romania initially (although it will get churned out elsewhere too in due course) and offers turbocharging, direct fuel injection and variable valve timing.
