This Delco cd player was manufactured December 15th of 1997 and works perfect. This plays copied cd's (CDR) as well as store purchased ones and all of the backlighting is brand new. This will work with your steering wheel controls and heads-up display also. It has excellent audio control with the auto tone button for rock, jazz, pop and even news as well as separate treble and bass controls. It has a built on fan on the back for cooling the circuitry for added protection and unlocked and ready to plug-in and play. Instructions are included for the optional theft-lock feature to program your own made 4-digit code in case you would like to activate the theftlock. This will make the red indicator light on the radio blink when you are away from your car as theft deterrent. From 2014 Euro NCAP – the organization responsible for conducting independent assessment of vehicle safety performance – will amend its reports and no car will gain a five-star rating without AEB. It's hoped an increased use of the system will cut down on front-end impacts as well as pedestrian injuries.
