Nice Original 1957-1962 Corvette 283 327 Fi Trap Door Oil Pan Original Gm on 2040-parts.com
Orangeville, Pennsylvania, United States
Here is an original 57-62 Corvette trap door oil pan. I wanted to leave it as is so you can see there is nothing hidden.
It was hot tanked and has been sitting in dry storage for many years. There is a couple of minor dings on the bottom edges as seen but the rest is super. You can see the rails are nice and flat and there is no other damage. The rust you see is very light so with a little hammer and dolly work this pan will look great. Thank you and good luck. |

Carmel Concours stages a strong comeback
Tue, 16 Aug 2011The Carmel Concours on the Avenue came back stronger than ever this year, with somewhere around 200 cars crammed into every nook and cranny of downtown Carmel, Calif., and a crowd many were saying was the biggest the event has ever seen. Under unusually blue skies and warm temperatures, the sunscreened faithful ogled a varied and eclectic lineup, from Ferraris and Porsches to the Ford tractor owned by Carroll Shelby's doctor. Beat that, Pebble.

General Motors Europe opens new Design Center
Fri, 12 May 2006Being a car designer is often percieved as a glamourous occupation, but few people realise that this typically means working in some of the least inspiring places. Wolfsburg, Detroit and Birmingham are just a few of the locations that are home to some of the largest populations of car designers around the world. GM Europe's location in Russelsheim, Germany is also one of the less glamourous locations but the new design center building opened this week aims to redress the otherwise rather industrial feel of the place where tomorrow's Opels and Saabs are created.
