Condition:Used

This is a nice used original J-Bolt, GM # 482942, and original wing nut, GM # 9785616,  as shown in the 1970 Camaro Assembly Manual ( UPC 10, Sheet A2). These part numbers also appear in the 1971-1973 Camaro assembly manuals. The J-bolt is about 9 3/4" in length with a thread length of 4". At the bend there appears to be a stamped letter "C" (see photo # 8).  Both parts are is in good condition. I buffed off the surface rust with my wire wheel but there is still a small amount of minor surface rust on the wing nut (see photo # 4). The wing nut has 4 dimples on the bottom surface around the threaded hole. The 9785616 wing nuts made in later years have minor differences with more dimples or a different way the 5/16"-18 nut is attached to the "wing".

NOTE: Early 1970 Camaro models were issued J-Bolt # 3984011 (about 10 1/2" long).

Bid on the J-Bolt and wing nut only if you want an original GM part.

Shipping will be via the USPS Priority Mail fully insured.
