What I have up for bids here is a good used OEM Mercury set of tilt assist shocks with all mounting hardware, just pulled from a 19682 Mercury 70hp outboard that we are parting out and used on many of the late 1960s thru late 1980s Mercury 45hp, 50hp, 60hp, 65hp, 70hp, 80hp, 90hp 115hp and 135hp models. This set would be perfect for the guy who fixing up a older outboard and looking for a period or model correct OEM parts or for the guy who is looking for good used set of shocks to get that older outboard back on the water. For the no reserve opening bid of just $29.99 you cant go wrong. Now here's what you will get,

(1)OEM Mercury set of tilt assist shocks with all mounting hardware as shown above. Shocks have a Merc part number of #58780A3 and are 11 3/4" extended in size from one eyelet to the other. Both of these shocks is clean and in good working order with no leaks or damage. Some light paint wear here and there. below and above I have attached 6 pictures of the shocks and parts to give you a better idea of what you will be getting and condition. please review before bidding..

Now as noted, this set was pulled from a 1982 70hp,, but this model and size shocks were used again on many of the late 1960s thru late 1980s Merc 45hp, 50hp, 60hp, 65hp, 70hp, 80hp, 90hp 115hp and 135hp models and possible others outboard models from this era, but please check your parts manuals or dealer for more applications and fit.

New BMW M3 and M4 engine secrets laid bare

BMW's M division has lifted the veil of secrecy on the inline six-cylinder engine bound for its upcoming M3 sedan and new-to-the-range M4 coupe and convertible, revealing a potent twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter direct injection gasoline unit that produces an official 424 hp at 7,500 rpm and what officials describe as "significantly more than 369 lb-ft" of torque. The newly developed engine, known under the internal codename S55 B30, shares its 84.0 mm bore and 89.6 mm stroke with BMW's standard turbocharged 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder direct-injection gasoline mill, the M55 used across the German car maker's lineup, endowing the aluminum block unit with an overall swept volume of 2,979 cc. This represents a sizeable 990 cc reduction on the engine BMW's M division's new unit replaces, the S65.
