You are bidding on an original BENDIX PS Series Carburetor Manual from August 1, 1956. First Edition. This manual has 94 pages. All pages are original – no photocopies.  This manual measures 5.25 inches by 7.25 inches. Black-and-white illustrations, photos, tables, diagrams, and charts are used in the manual to present the information. There is one color illustration in the center of the manual. There are many nice black and white photographs of airplanes and helicopters in this manual. As I flip through the book, I do not see any missing pages or handwriting with exception of cover.

Given how closely the 650S coupe is based upon the 12C, it’s no surprise to see the 650S Spider looking very much like a 12C: same folding hard-top roof, same 40kg weight penalty, same boasts by McLaren that the carbon tub needs no extra reinforcing for its role in a cabriolet. Though the 650S Spider is 40kg heavier than the hard-top and has some of its P1-echoing aerodynamic talent spoiled by chopping the top off, it’s still a very fast piece of kit.

UK roads slide in global satisfaction survey

THE UK has slipped yet further down a league table of roads quality, according to data released in the 2013-14 World Economic Forum report. Having previously sat in an already meagre 24th place, the UK has fallen to 28th, equal to Namibia – and the Republic of Ireland. The study, which is based on people’s perceptions of their own country’s infrastructure, highlights growing dissatisfaction among the British people regarding the state of the road network.
