This is a NEW IN ORIGINAL BOX Niehoff DR-60  6 Cylinder Distributor Cap.  This NIOB Distributor Cap fits AMC 65-74 / Buick 68-74 / Checker 66-74 / Chevrolet 65-75 / GMC 65-74 / INTL 67-80 / Jeep 66-74 / Oldsmobile 66-74 / Pontiac 65-74 250 Cu. In. 6 Cylinders.  It crosses to a Standard DR438.   The box shows it's age but it is not wrinkled or crushed anywhere.  You can see where another part number was hand-written on the box in black marker.  The cap itself is brand new and has never been out of the box for anything other than pictures.  All original pieces are included in the box. I have inspected this item very, very carefully for any cracks, chips or other damage and there is not anything visibly wrong with this item.   I have several Niehoff Distributor Caps, Rotors, Matched Point Sets and other items that I will be listing.

Jaguar reveals first ‘new’ lightweight E-Type

CLASSIC car fans and speculators alike will be rejoicing as Jaguar has revealed the prototype of its ‘new' lightweight E-Type. Six further examples will be built by Jaguar Heritage and sold as period competition vehicles, using previously unused chassis numbers to give them true authenticity. In 1963 Jaguar started the 'Special GT E-type' programme to build 18 lightweight racers, but only 12 were ever made.

The Fiat 500X is an SUV based on the same platform as the 500L, and we’ve got a sneak peek of it at a press event in Italy. Fiat are determined to extend the 500 franchise with an extended range of models, such as the Fiat 500L we saw officially launched earlier today. Next up will be the Fiat 500X, a crossover come SUV based on the same Punto platform as the new 500L and aimed at the same market place as the MINI Countryman.

L’argus Student Competition 2009

French magazine L'argus de l'automobile has announced the winners of its seventh Student Competition Awards, themed ‘Automobile Design for Social Utility'. Open to students studying design within the European Union and Switzerland, the competition culminated at a recent awards ceremony at the Eiffel Tower. The first prize of €3000 and an internship at Renault's Technocentre in Guyancourt (near Paris) went to Damien Grossemy, Thibaut Dereymacker and Maxime Dimarco from the Institut Supérieur de Design in Valenciennes, France.
