UK buyers plugging into electric cars

Renault New figures suggest UK motorists are charged up about electric vehicles (EVs), with a record number of zero-emission cars now on Britain’s roads. Figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) suggest there are more than 10,000 electric cars on the road today, with as many as 1,200 EVs sold in March alone. Subaru enjoys best-ever sales month in the US

Subaru sold a whopping 41,061 cars in America during the month of August, which not only represents a 45 percent increase over August of last year, but also the best month of sales for the company, period. And it's not the relatively new Subaru BRZ that's leading the pack -- Subaru sold 15 times more Foresters than BRZs during the month of August.
