I've managed to source connectors for the stock engine wiring harness. It will include eight EV1 connectors for the fuel injectors, etc, a three pin connector for the TPS and the six pin TPS connector. There is well over $100 worth of connectors so this is a great deal. If you have a 1984-1989 300ZX Z31 or you are doing an ECU swap into a 240Z, 260Z, 280Z or 280ZX and you haven't replaced the 20+ year old connectors on your car yet you need this kit! A lot of the problems on the car have to do with corroded or loose connectors. Cleaning the male side of the plugs is possible on the MAF, injectors, TPS, etc however cleaning the female side on the connector is difficult and doesn't often last. The reason is that the male connector is easily accessable and are usually solid brass. These can be cleaned/polished to new condition. The connector side is plated and the disimilar metals cause corrosion and the plating is destroyed in the process. Cleaning the corrosion is difficult because they are physically difficult to access and with the plated material missing the base material will quickly corrode and the problems will come back.
 
*** Please note - the 1988-89 300ZX use an offset tab on their high impedance injectors and require a specialized plug rather than the EV1 used with the earlier low impedance injectors.  Make sure you have the original stlye injectors in your car and not the ones with the offset plugs.
 
This version of the kit includes a AFM, TPS and 9 EV1 connectors, pigtails as well as water proof heat shrink with a meltable inner wall to keep your solder joints water proof.  These are an upgraded version of the stock connectors with a quick disconnect squeeze tab and weather proof seals.   Since each year of the car varries for installation only the common plugs are populated.  Additional pigtails are included and simply click into place if you require exta pigtails for your application.  Please contact the seller if you need any further help or have any questions.

A lot of the problems associated with the idle and running of the car are associated with the MAF connector. Often the clip from the connector is missing causing poor a poor connection which can cause intermittant faults which are often difficult to track down.

I would highly recomend replacing the stock negative battery cable with a heavy cable to the starter and one to the chassis. I also recomend a ground cable from the chassis where the battery cable mounts to the ECU and from the ECU to the ground point for all the sensors on the manifold. Replace all the connectors with this kit and you have an excellent base for your electronic fuel injection system.

Replacing your connectors isn't going to solve all your electrical problems but it will give you a good solid base and eliminate a lot of potential problems.

Mercedes-Benz to use Maybach name for range-topping S-class

Mercedes-Benz will be bringing back the Maybach name for the extra-long-wheelbase S-class, which is expected to go on sale by the end of this year. This version of the S-class will be a third bodystyle (out of an eventual total of four), and will be positioned above the V12-powered S600 and its AMG siblings. The Maybach-branded Mercedes-Benz personal limousine will essentially be a replacement for the Maybach 62, and will feature an entirely reworked rear section with new rectangular rear doors and a new rear passenger compartment with first-class seating.
