Nissan 350Z NISMO Dual Cold Air Intake 2007-2009

The better your engine breathes, the more power it's going to make. Bringing cool air in from outside the engine compartment also boosts power, because cooler air has more of the oxygen your engine craves. Oh, and one more thing: a NISMO Cold Air Intake makes your Nissan sound just as tough as it is.

2012 Mercedes SL Spied

Fri, 31 Dec 2010

2012 Mercedes SL caught testing When the fifth generation Mercedes SL hit the headlines back in 2002 it was a revelation, offering as it did the best of a coupe and a convertible and a completely bonkers performance version in the SL55. But eight years is a long time in the life of a car – even with a cosmetic facelift in 2008 – and the SL has lost its way as the flagship of the Mercedes range. More powerful cars like the SLS have put the SL in to the shadows, and even its little brother – the Mercedes SLK – is probably more desirable.

We weren’t supposed to see the 4x4 until the November 2008 LA auto show, but we’ve tracked down the photos of the new Lexus RX early. They certainly look it and insiders at Lexus GB suggest they are genuine.

Ford Galaxy MPV spied stateside

Tue, 28 Aug 2012

Autoweek reader and frequent spy-shot contributor Spencer Abbott sends these photos of what appears to be a Ford Galaxy MPV -- or minivan, as we typically call the vehicles stateside -- testing in metropolitan Detroit. The Galaxy received a facelift in 2010, and that appears to be what we're seeing in these photos. Your guess is as good as ours as to why the vehicle was out and about near Ford's Dearborn, Mich., headquarters.
