GPS signals trump cellular in FCC battle
Tue, 28 Feb 2012Bandwidth has become a precious commodity. Just ask any owner of a car that has an analog OnStar system that wound up being a useless brick when digital cellular signals were declared to be the only game in town. Cadillac CTS-V Coupe (2011) revealed
Tue, 05 Jan 2010First Official photos of the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe We got confirmation that the CTS-V Coupe was going to be built just a couple of days before GM revealed the CTS Coupe. No surprises in store – except perhaps just how good it looks – with its 6.2 litre, 556 bhp V8 almost defying resistance by hurtling the not inconsiderably-sized CTS-V Coupe to 60mph in 3.9 seconds.
Porsche unveils 2015 911 Targa
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Porsche has given its latest 911 Targa a heavy dose of retro appeal through the adoption of a series of classic styling cues that hark back to that of the original model launched in 1965. Unveiled at the Detroit auto show, the new 911 Targa is based around the same aluminium bodyshell and four-wheel drive mechanical package as the 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, alongside which it will be produced at Porsche's Zuffenhausen factory on the outskirts of Stuttgart, Germany. Among the traditional styling elements Porsche's design boss Michael Mauer has chosen to resurrect on the new car is a fixed B-pillar hoop, or Targa bar as it has come to be known over the years.
