Royal College of Art interim exhibition - 'Automotivation'

Second year Vehicle Design students at London's Royal College of Art displayed their work last November in an interim exhibition entitled 'Automotivation'. The long-established RCA Vehicle Design course has produced some of the world's most respected and successful automotive designers. In the exhibition, a range of design projects considered the needs of the world's changing landscape for private and public mobility.

Audi A2 EV & A1 Range-Extender dropped

It seems Audi is getting cold feet on its electric car plans with the Audi A2 EV and the Audi A1 Range-Extender reported to be dropped. It’s starting to look as if car makers are waking up to the reality that electric cars are not something car buyers, on the whole, want to spend their hard earned cash on. The Nissan Murano is to get a diesel option from September The Nissan Murano is the Qashqai’s big brother, just as the soon to arrive Nissan Juke is the baby. But the Murano often tends to get overlooked because it seems like it doesn’t really belong in Europe. It feels – and looks – a bit like a Crossover designed for the US with its blingy looks and petrol only V6 (from the old 350Z).
