VQ35 Oil Consumption I bought an ’03 Pathfinder in 2008 with the VQ35 engine. It had 87,000 miles on it. To make sure it was prepared for a life with me, I performed all the periodic maintenance. I didn't want to assume that it was treated kindly. The first thing that stunned me was the reports of power valve screws being ingested and causing damage. While reading that material, I came across posts talking about high oil consumption. The truck I bought was low on oil when I inspected it. Now I began to wonder if this might be a problem with my vehicle. Hmmm, high quality import?? Now I understand that lots of folks are having oil consumption problem with the VQ35, regardless of vehicle. Twenty years later, Ferrari is celebrating its anniversary in the country by producing 20 special-edition copies of the 458 Italia inspired by the market. In addition to the car, Ferrari will open its first permanent brand exhibition outside of Maranello at the Italian Center of Shanghai's World Expo Park.
GM, Chrysler, Nissan launch recalls
Fri, 12 Nov 2010General Motors is recalling 13,780 of its 2010 and 2011 Buick Lucerne and Cadillac DTS vehicles because of a risk of fire caused by a steering fluid leak. Nissan is recalling 605,000 of its cars for issues with the steering column and batteries. Meanwhile, Chrysler is recalling 16,000 Jeep Liberty SUVs that have a faulty windshield-wiper system.
