Aston Martin DBS Ultimate Edition mooted as run-out special
Sat, 28 Apr 2012Aston Martin DBS Ultimate Edition planned The Aston Martin DBS is to be refreshed at the end of 2012 and AML look set to produce a run-out model – the DBS Ultimate Edition. There’s no doubt that Aston Martin likes a variation on a theme, and has a real penchant for a limited edition car whenever a suitable occasion can be found. So a run-out model for the current DBS is a given.
Tesla Model S EV the best-selling car in Norway
Fri, 27 Sep 2013Tesla Model S EV (pictured) is the best-selling car in Norway We’ve already seen that the Tesla Model S electric car is out-performing many luxury cars in the US, and with reviews of the Tesla S finding very little not to like it seems strong Tesla S sales are a trend that will continue. But it’s one thing taking on low-selling, high-end cars, and quite another becoming the best-selling car bar none in a given market, but that’s exactly what Tesla has achieved in Norway in the first few weeks of September. Admittedly, Norway’s car market isn’t huge, but the Tesla Model S managed to move in to buyers hands in Norway in the first two weeks of September at a quicker rate than even the regular VW Golf, selling 322 compared to the Golf’s 256.
Vygor Opera .2 – just as ugly as the first Vygor & €140k
Wed, 09 Nov 2011Vygor Opera .2 - a second take on the new crossover from Italy Last month we reported on the Vygor Opera, a new ‘car’ from Italy which we thought looked like a cross between a 5-Series GT, Subaru and an X6, but after a dose of ugly pills. So when we got an email in to say there’s a second version of the Opera – catchily named the Vygor Opera.2 – we thought Vygor must have bucked up their ideas from the first Opera and employed someone with a proper Italian flair for design. No such luck.
