Show Review: Salone del Mobile 2014

Milan Salone, the city's annual furniture extravaganza, sees exhibitors in their thousands take over the halls of the Fiera Milano exhibition center in the Rho district. Its sprawling physical size dwarfs any motor show, making even the maze of Frankfurt's Messe seem compact, while the list of exhibitors can be plain overwhelming. Trying to contain the creative force of nature that is the world's largest design fair in one venue simply isn't possible, either.

Autoweek in review: coupes, trailers and rarities

We rang in the week with good news as we found out that the Cadillac ATS will bring a coupe version when the new model arrives next year. From postwar Packards to Beetles old and New, there are no shortage of cars that vaguely resemble the armadillo. Yet none, so far as we know, have mastered the shelled mammal's impressive vertical leap -- and none possess that oh-so-armadillian trait, the ability to curl up into a little protective ball. Not more than once, anyway.
